Workshops and Groups

Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, need help with a project or simply want to join our community of stitchers and makers, we look forward to welcoming you to one of our workshops or our weekly group, Stitch n Natter.

Workshops

Our calendar of events are shown on Facebook and it's easy to book online from each event page.

Each month, we run a range sessions to suit beginner to advanced levels.  Each session provides tuition and guidance to making anything from an up-cycled bag to a piece of clothing in a warm, friendly atmosphere.  Importantly, accompanied by tea and cake!

"Attended a workshop today to make an A-line skirt, I never thought in a million years I could do it as I’ve been trying for the last 6 months. Julie is amazing at teaching you, she has patience, explains everything so well and the mini afternoon tea in the gorgeous vintage teapots, cups and saucers is such a delight!! I can’t wait to attend again and update my wardrobe. Thank you so much to Julie and her husband who kept me in tea"
Michelle Garratt, Introduction to Dressmaking Feb 2018.

Stitch n Natter - every Wednesday 6pm until 8.30pm

We also run a regular, less structured sewing group that is available to drop into each week on a Wednesday evening. This has been running for over 5 years now and there is a great mix of levels to support one another.  Feel free to join us if you fancy a stitch and a natter, bring along your project or simply pop in to learn new techniques.

Tell us more about what you would like to take part in.  We are always interesting to know what you would like to make or learn so please do let us know at heritagereloved@hotmail.com
